Came home late last night to find that my dear friend in London had sent me some lovely pics. She had run into the amazing Lucyann Barry, an apparent fashionista who does what for a living? More of the NY Fashion Week. Costello Tagliapietra, not disappointing at all, of course. Classy, clean and drapes, drapes, drapes. And the shoes with the zipper in the back, gorgeous! And do you guys see the red thread that runs in so many collections? The belt around the waist. Still going strong after so many seasons. And why not, it'sa figure enhancer and such an easy way to highlight the clothes.

The 2010 fall collection of Luca Luca has knocked me off my feet. Again. I love the make-up, the sleek but yet natural styling, and of course the fitted dresses - office wear with a twist so one doesn't die of boredom whilst working. Love it!

Bold, avant-garde and artistic are three words to which the late Alexander McQueen and his work can be described. He was a designer with clothes that showed a futuristic vision, classical pieces turned into nonrecognition with new shapes and forms. And that is how new fashion epoces begin instead of reviving old eras again and again as we do currently. His spirit will be missed.

A store found

A lovely friend is visiting from the UK. The gift I got from her is from Anthropologie, a store that has so many fun surprises. Fresh, sober and simple, they've turned classics into moderns with a twist. I think it would be a success here in Stockholm. But for now we'll have to use the web-shopping.
