"I was given a fantastic grounding at Balmain and Yves Saint Laurent's couture shows in Paris when I was just starting out, it was all about proportion and tailoring, something I've held dear ever since. So many brands are too conscious of what everybody else is doing. I like to get my inspiration elsewhere: from exhibitions, books, or even a stained-glass window…. At work, we don't talk about fashion – we talk about clothes."

I´m all about big, really big necklaces. So pretty! The downside is that it tends to get rather heavy. But when want to be pretty, you've got to take the pain.

Vera Wang is the queen of bridal dresses, always hired by celebs and importantees, most recently Ivanka Trump´s Grace Kelly inspired dress.

Did however only manage to find one dress from her 2010 bridal fall collection that I found a wee bit interesting. It looks like glass or cotton candy, it looks so fragile, and I love that pale, pale yellow.

Vintage sunglasses

I love sunglasses and have lots of them, until now simple ones from the ordinary retail shops. They are quite annoying cause their glasses always manage to get scraped. I managed to get my hands on two vintage sunglasses at STHLM FASHION MARKET. I can't wait until it´s summer and I can wear them with a pretty dress. And as the nice sails lady said they´re pure quality, so I hope no more ruined glasses.

Love Olivia Palermo's big statement necklaces and her all-and-all neat looks. But I guess with good taste and that big wardrobe she can't go wrong.

My so called life

While today's fashion is inspired by TV-series like Gossip Girl I grew up in the days when inspiration came from My so called life with Claire Danes and Jared Leto. Teenage agonies, outsiders, sad love stories and broken hearts. And the clothes; grunge, baggy jeans, knitted large cardigans with too long arms, mismatch, colors clashing. And Claire's red colored hair. Yes those were the days.

Reminiscing

Just saw Superman returns. One can´t help but reminisce. Christopher Reeve, the original superman, was probably one of the most handsome actors we've ever had.
