I have been completely isolated from the news flow today. I just found out. And I don't have words. Two of my favourites, from my favourite film, have now both passed away. All of you who follow the blog know how much I admire Elizabeth Taylor, there will never be anyone like her ever again. The beauty, the star, the legend.

Trend alert: Flairs

The flaired pants and jeans have reached the streets. This spring and summer, they will be everywhere. I am gonna find my many pairs that are stashed deep in the wardrobe and wear them with simple t-s.

Head scarf

When it gets warmer and we don't have to hide under hats and hoodies a scarf can be so pretty to wrap around your hair. Just a simple t-shirt, a pair of jeans and a bright scarf in your favorite color. It's also good for those bad hair days :-)

Pantsuit

It's been around for a while, and for this spring and summer the pantsuit is back. This pale blue one from Elie Saab is gorgeous.

Tomorrow is the International Women's Day. So put on your wildest outfit, strutt the streets like it's your personal catwalk and embrace your womanhood! "This is a man's world, but it ain't nothing without a woman in it". And also, it's time we make it a woman's world! Long live sisterhood! And looking fabulous whilst fighting for our rights.

Trend alert: Maxi skirts

I don't think you've missed the maxi skirt trend. It's everywhere, and worn by all and everyone. From midi to maxi, it's to be found on all catwalks and all high-street stores. I really like Jil Sander's take on it, ballon shaped and with paper-bag waist.

Grey Pants

I know it's spring time but I've got this obsession with finding a pair of high-waisted slim fitted grey trousers. You know, a masculine piece that has been turned into feminine, love it!

If only Britney always could look like this rather than how we've come to see her for the past couple of years. I am just waiting for her to remove those extensions, the bad coloring, the awful ill-fitted clothes and the ugly boots. O, how I wish she could get a complete make-over and rule the pop world again.

I really like Fendi´s fall collection, it's so conservative, so old-schoolish, the bright colored stockings and the bags are the icing on the cake. A touch of Lagerfeld's geniusness.
