Hermès ads are hard to beat. This makes me wanna wrap myself in a big silky scarf from head to toe.

Red carpet dresses
I simply love, love, love Elie Saab, he just never makes it wrong with his luxurious and glamorous gowns. Now imagine wearing these dresses when cleaning the house, doing the dishes...ok maybe not. But why don't the big stars ever wear beautiful pieces like these on the red carpet?

My summary of the spring/summer trends of 2010. There are four major trends that we will see everywhere as soon as the sky clears. Patterns, flowers, stripes and dots. Mark my words. Or look for yourselves, Marni has managed to mix the four trends into one.

The big cats' fight!
Giorgio Armani has sent out a statement saying that his Armani Prive couture show has been changed in timetable because of quote “unexpected and unjustifiable” time change by no one else than Christian Dior. Armani calls Dior's move “indicative of a lack of respect for other people’s time and labor.” What will the respond be?

I'm an Oscar girl
Oscar de la Renta is one of my top favorite designers. His Spring 2010 collection has a few pieces that stand out so much your eyes will hurt. It's so rich in colors, the mix of all kinds of fabrics, the combination of colors, how about green and orange and a little peach? The big chunky golden necklaces.
It almost feels like swearing in church when I pull out these spring/summer pieces in the middle of the freezing Stockholm winter, but hey that's what you do in fashion, look ahead, and yearn.
The green skirt and the mix of boho-chic and romantic.
This dress is breathtaking, elegance personified. And that necklace!
I wouldn't want the silver shoes though.

Muse
Actress Jessica Biel seems to have caught the special eye of fashion world's own queen Vogue's editor Anne Wintour. Editor Wintour wishes to see Biel play a larger role in the fashion world. Wintour says "She symbolized everything American fashion stands for: health, beauty, fitness, and grace. She'd make a great partner for any designer."
Hm, interesting. I've never considered Biel as anyone remotely connected to fashion. Let's see which designer will hop on this train.
